How It Works
- A 250 ml sample container is securely attached to the turntable using a magnetic fixture.
- The turntable is fitted with a calibrated spring, featuring an engraved measurement scale from 0 to 450 g/cm.
- A flat paddle spindle (4 × 2 cm) rotates automatically at a selected speed between 0.5 and 5.0 rpm.
- As the spindle drives the sample container and turntable, resistance from the material generates torque.
- The torque value stabilizes during rotation and is read directly from the scale, indicating the yield strength and gel consistency of the material.
This controlled rotational method allows reliable and repeatable assessment of gel strength for thick and structured materials.
