How It Works
- Place the test chart or substrate on a level work surface or on the bed of an automatic film applicator.
- Apply a sufficient amount of coating or liquid sample along the edge corresponding to the desired gap thickness.
- Select the appropriate side of the 8-Sided Film Applicator to match the required wet film thickness.
- Draw the applicator steadily across the panel in a single motion, allowing sample to pass through the calibrated gap.
- The calibrated edge distributes the liquid into a uniform and controlled wet film across the panel.
- Allow the applied film to level or dry before performing further testing or evaluation.
