Description
The TQC Sheen Cross Cut Adhesion Test Kit CC3000 is designed to evaluate the adhesion of dry paint or coating layers to their substrate. The TQC Sheen Cross Cut Adhesion Test Kit is available in three variants; CC1000, CC2000 and CC3000. The CC3000 assures the most reproducible results with the guidance of two ball bearings, ideal if the test is performed by constantly changing persons.

How it works
Two series of parallel cuts are made with the selected blade, resulting in a defined grid pattern. On soft substrates, the area is brushed lightly. On hard substrates, adhesive tape is applied over the lattice and removed according to standard procedures. The amount of coating detachment is then evaluated visually or with the supplied magnifier. The CC3000 is a fully adjustable cutter whose cutting depth can be fine-tuned and the blade holder is guided by dual ball bearings for repeatable and reproducible results.
