Basic knife for cross cut adhesion tests. The importance of using a Cross Cutter

Each TQC Cross Cut Adhesion Test Basic Cutter contains a grip with cutter

Avoid humidity

The TQC Cross Cut Adhesion Test Basic Cutter is used to test the adhesion of dry coats of paint on their
substrate by means of a series of cuts through the coating.

1. Make sure the surface to be tested is rigid and firm
2. Choose the right cutter (see schedule)

3. Always makes sure the cutter is sharp and undamaged. The ISO-standard advises replacement of the cutter
when the top of the cutting teeth has flattened with 0,1 mm.
4. Place the cutter as indicated on the picture.

Wrap up from Corrosion & Prevention Conference – Adelaide, November 2018

Corrosion & Prevention Conference 2018

It was great to see old and new faces this year!  Fantastic papers were presented and we had some great networking opportunities!  It was pleasing to see the continuing strength of ACA and the great prospects for ACA moving forward.

We were pleased with attendance levels, and it was great to introduce our business and services to everyone.  We are excited to see everyone in Victoria next year.

There was a memorable conference dinner and a special mention of the informative (and somewhat humorous) presentation from the Italian Wine Society – we’ll be looking out for the dehydrated wine!!

The next Conference is in Melbourne in November 2019, come and visit us
