Description
The TQC Film thickness gauge is a high precision film and foil thickness gauge, especially developed for measuring so-called “replica tapes” as Testex®, used mainly to measure the surface profile. The large clear display makes it easy to read the measurement under all conditions. Values can be displayed in either microns or inches.
To minimise the influence of body/hand temperature the gauge is mounted detached from the holder.
The TQC Sheen FTG2000 Film Thickness Gauge is a versatile and high-precision instrument designed for non-destructive measurement of dry film thickness on both ferrous and non-ferrous substrates. It is widely used in coating inspection, quality control and industrial production environments.
Using advanced measurement principles, the FTG2000 automatically detects the substrate type and selects the appropriate method—magnetic induction for ferrous materials and eddy current for non-ferrous substrates. This ensures accurate and reliable thickness readings across a wide range of applications.
