How It Works
- Place the test chart or substrate on a level surface or on the base of an automatic film applicator.
- Select the correct side of the 4-Sided Film Applicator to match the intended wet film thickness.
- Apply a sufficient amount of coating sample inside the reservoir to the desired gap thickness.
- Draw the applicator steadily across the panel in one smooth motion.
- The calibrated gap edge distributes the sample into a uniform wet film.
- Allow the applied film to level or dry before further evaluation.
By providing multiple calibrated gaps in one tool, this applicator supports flexible and repeatable film preparation.
