When the cup is immersed into a liquid coating and then lifted out, the flow time until the needle appears indicates the viscosity of the fluid. How it Works
1.Immerse the Lory Viscosity Cup completely into the liquid to be tested.
2.Lift the cup vertically and start timing as the liquid begins to flow from the orifice.
3.Stop timing the moment the needle point becomes visible through the bottom opening.
4.The recorded time represents the viscosity of the paint, lacquer, coating, or similar fluid.
5.Repeat the measurement under the same temperature conditions for best accuracy.
The Lory Cup provides fast, repeatable viscosity readings without the need for complex instruments, making it ideal for production environments.
