How It Works
- Install the viscometer on a stable bench or test stand.
- Select and attach one of the included RV spindles to match your sample’s viscosity range.
- Place the sample fluid in an appropriate container and lower the spindle into the liquid.
- Set the desired test speed within the 0.3 to 100 rpm range.
- The instrument rotates the spindle and measures the resistance (torque) created by the fluid.
- Viscosity values are calculated and displayed in your selected units (mPa·s, Pa·s, dPa·s, cP, P, cPs), with dynamic and kinematic conversions as required.
This method allows users to tailor tests to different materials, obtain comprehensive viscosity data and store results for quality control or formulation analysis.
